The Crovetto family

It was seven o´clock in the morning in Aedo
The neighborhood was quiet
Emiliana show her head through the door
She get on the bus to go to her job
She spent eleven hours working in the office
Half-past seven the children wake up
*Marcello and Florencia, daughter borned in BsAs*

The both went towards the kitchen with eyes still stuck
Nona kneaded the dough
And have let the children the breakfast on the little table beside the window
She still kept mourning by her deceased husband
All dress in black, hospitalable look, sad smile
Vito her son and Marce and Flor´s father

He already were on the street since five o´clock in the morning
He sell all the candies you can imagen
He went bus to bus, but people don´t wanted to get olecay
And he kept traveling with a lot of pain in his back
He got a wound on his eyes, but that hasn´t impede him to walk

*Chorus

Eight o ´clock at midnight Emiliana came back with market bags
And putted them on the table, put out the coat and sat on the couch
There she fell asleep, the children at the top of one´s voice fighting for a toy
Nona came out of the kitchen to shut the kids
Non vedete che sua mama é stanca?
The children went to their bathroom and kept fighting lower
Vito came back almost couldn´t walk, taking his hip
When he opened the door he saw Emiliana asleep on the dining room couch
He sat beside her and caressed her hair
Nona looked at them from the distance and swam in old memories
She moved next to the couch and said the paste with pesto is already on the table

*Chorus
