Heart of a child

*Nostalgia woke up again
In the heart of a child exiled from her land
Tears ran by her little face* (x2)

Remembering her friends playing with the rag ball
Stamping on the powder of the street
She´d got the “luck” of having an aunt living in Europe
That went to her the day her parents passed away
By a bomb that exploided in a store they were

Here in the old continent she started the school
There she couldn´t never go by poverty
She found it hard at the beginning
But time passes by and children doesn´t notice any difference
Slowly she find a new place to be into life

*Chorus

She always remind her little friends
And now that she learned to write with trembling handwritting
She wrote a letter to them saying “I miss you so”
Answer arrive days later by Mariana´handwritting
Cause the children didn´t knew about letters
She wrote “We all miss you too, Any”
A letter she´s holding with pain watching into the ocean

*Chorus

“I´m happy here with my aunt that take care so much of me
But there´s something into my chest that burns like hell
I miss my neighbourhood, my friends and Mariana”
Someone said –“Would you like to go back home?”
“I think you can´t ask me something like that
But if you want an answer I will tell you
That I would love to be with my friends, my land and Mariana there
If all my little town “my land” could eat each single day like they do here” (x2)

*Chorus
