The reaction in front of death

Did you never thought about your reaction in front of death?... I did
And I think that first I would standing still and later would deny it
Don´t wanting to face the facts cause it would tear me apart
Cause when you lose that one you´re aware that you´re alone

You always think that it can´t occur to you and then it just happen
You find yourself asking someone that give you forces to go on
But you won´t never hear the answer anyway

Everybody say to you what to do and you won´t do it
Everybody say to you what you shouldn´t do and you do it
We must live with our decisions for good or for bad
We must learn of the stones in our way and leap over
We must give before to ask cause life´s too brief
We waste foolishly time we could spend together

Does had never something shake you that much til thrill you?
Did someone put you against the wall and made you feel the fear?
Well… this is how I guess I would feel like
Even the thought makes me sad
I always think it´s enough the sorrow I feel
But life hides something bigger still to come
In this lottery everyone can win or lose… nothing is certain

You search for shelter into the lie, just to don´t think about it
We would do everything to don´t feel the sorrow
We would do everything to don´t feel the Winter in our bones
To ease the pain with tears and can keep ahead
If just that unknown would not scare us that way
I could even die tomorrow
